The E.S.Co. model:
Invest in energy with no upfront costs. Noon invests in your energy project; you only pay for the energy you save.
Many companies would like to switch to solar PV but are held back by the upfront investment.
The E.S.Co. model solves exactly this problem: we cover the costs for you, and you start saving without tying up financial resources.
What is the E.S.Co. model?
E.S.Co. stands for Energy Service Company. It is a partnership model in which we take charge of the entire energy efficiency or solar PV project on behalf of our client companies: financing, design, installation and operation.
Instead of buying the plant, you pay us a periodic fee, calculated on the energy produced or the savings actually generated, based on real results measured against a baseline agreed in the contract.
How does it work in practice?
One point of contact for everything: from the initial energy audit to routine and extraordinary maintenance.
Tailored analysis
We study your energy consumption and design the plant best suited to your company
Investment and construction
We cover all the costs of designing, installing and starting up the plant
You only pay for the energy saved
You don't buy the plant: you pay Noon a share proportional to the energy benefits generated
Management included for the entire contract term
Noon monitors performance, manages maintenance and ensures optimal operation over time
How is the investment managed?
Under the E.S.Co. model, the investment can be funded directly by Noon or structured through dedicated financial instruments. Either way, the client company does not tie up capital.
Payments are periodic, predictable and always linked to measurable parameters: energy produced or actual savings compared with the baseline.
Why does it pay?
Stable energy costs
An E.S.Co. contract can fix the energy price for several years — even 10. This makes it possible to plan budgets and margins more accurately, reducing exposure to electricity market volatility.
Technology risk
Choosing technologies, suppliers and plant configurations is our responsibility. Any risk of underperformance, design errors or obsolescence falls on the service provider, not on the company.
Simple management
A single point of contact for everything to do with the plant. No multiple suppliers to coordinate, no operational tasks to manage in-house. The company focuses on its business; Noon takes care of the rest.
Purchase option at the end of the contract
At the end of the term, ownership of the plant often passes to the client company, which has already enjoyed years of savings in the meantime.
When is it the right choice?
- You want to cut energy costs but don't want to commit cash or credit lines
- You want a complete service, without having to manage installers, maintenance providers or monitoring yourself
- You prefer a predictable operating expense to a capital investment
Find out about available incentives
On top of the benefits of the E.S.Co. model,
